Thank you for visiting the Cybersecurity Services Regulation Office (CSRO) website, the official digital service of CSRO, and any applications or services related to or linked to or from this digital service (henceforth collectively known as “the Digital Service”).

The Digital Service is owned and operated by the Government of the Republic of Singapore c/o CSRO. By accessing and using this Digital Service, you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, please discontinue your access and leave the Digital Service.

General

The Terms of Use may be changed from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and your use of the Digital Service after such changes have been posted will constitute your agreement to the modified Terms of Use and all of the changes.

Access to the Digital Service

The accessibility and operation of the Digital Service relies on technology outside of CSRO’s control. CSRO does not guarantee continuous accessibility or uninterrupted operation of the Digital Service.

CSRO reserves the right to temporarily suspend or shut down the Digital Service for system maintenance or for such other purpose as CSRO may require, as and when necessary.

CSRO reserves all rights to deny or restrict access to this Digital Service to any person or to block access from any Internet address to this Digital Service or any part thereof, at any time, without ascribing any reasons whatsoever.

Any transactions which you carry out on this Digital Service (including the use of any services offered by CSRO on the Digital Service) shall be subject to such additional terms and conditions as CSRO finds necessary. These additional terms and conditions shall be brought to your attention at the time of your transaction, and by carrying out your transaction you shall be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be legally bound by the additional terms and conditions.

All rights, title and interest in the Contents are owned by, licensed to or controlled by CSRO.

Restrictions on use of Information and Materials

Except as otherwise provided, the materials located on this Digital Service including the source code, data, pages, documents and online graphics, audio and video media, and information and software programs (“the Contents”), are protected by copyright, trademark and other forms of proprietary rights. All rights, title and interest in the Contents are owned by or licensed to CSRO.

Contents of this Digital Service shall not be reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or otherwise distributed in any way, without the prior written permission of CSRO.

Modification of any of the Contents or use of the Contents for any other purpose will be a violation of CSRO’s copyright and other intellectual property rights. Graphics and images on this Digital Service are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or appropriated in any manner without written permission of CSRO.

All Contents made available for downloading from this Digital Service are the copyrighted work of CSRO and the ownership is retained by CSRO.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability

The Contents of this Digital Service are provided on an “as-is” basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CSRO does not warrant and disclaims all express, implied and statutory warranties of any kind to you, whether arising from usage or custom or trade or by operation of law or otherwise, including but not limited to the following:

i. as to the accuracy, correctness, reliability, timeliness, non-infringement, title, merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose of the Contents of this Digital Service; and

ii. that the Contents available through this Digital Service or any functions associated therewith will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that defects will be corrected or that this Digital Service and the server is and will be free of all viruses and/or other harmful elements.

CSRO shall not be liable for any damages, losses, compensation, penalty, expenses or costs whatsoever (whether direct, indirect, special or consequential damage or economic loss and whether foreseeable or not) incurred on account of or arising from:

i. Using, visiting or relying on any statements, opinion, representation or information provided through the Digital Service;

ii. The access to the Digital Service or use of any services offered on the Digital Service;

iii. Any inaccuracy or incompleteness in, or errors or omission in the content of the Digital Service;

iv. Any delay or errors in operation or transmission of the Digital Service arising from communications failure, internet access difficulties or malfunctions in equipment or software;

v. Use or access to the Digital Service or any other website linked to the Digital Service or in connection with any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus or line or system failure; and

vi. Actions or omissions of any person who access or use the applications at the Digital Service or obtains any information obtained directly or indirectly through the Digital Service, regardless of whether CSRO has been advised of the possibility of such damages, loss, compensation, penalty, expenses or costs.

Any reference made by CSRO in this Digital Service to any company or other entity, or to their services or products, is NOT an endorsement nor should it imply any such endorsement of the quality of that company or entity, or its services or products.

CSRO provides the Digital Service as a general information source only. The Digital Service should not be taken as giving professional advice, and may not cover all the relevant information on a particular issue. Before relying in any way on the information on the Digital Service, you should do your own checks and/or obtain the necessary professional advice on your particular issue.

CSRO may modify or discontinue any information or features that form part of the Digital Service at any time, with or without notice to you, and without liability.

Indemnity

You hereby agree to indemnify CSRO and hold CSRO harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including but not limited to legal costs and expenses on a full indemnity basis) made against or suffered or incurred by CSRO however arising directly or indirectly from:

i. your access to or use of this Digital Service; or

ii. your breach of any of these Terms of Use.

Hyperlinks from this Digital Service to other websites

This Digital Service contains hyperlinks to websites which are not maintained by CSRO. CSRO is not responsible for the contents of those websites and shall not be liable for any damages or loss arising from access to those websites. Use of the hyperlinks and access to such websites are entirely at your own risk.

Hyperlinks to other websites are provided as a convenience. In no circumstances shall CSRO be considered to be associated or affiliated with any trade or service marks, logos, insignia or other devices used or appearing on websites to which this Digital Service is linked.

Links to this Digital Service from other websites

Except as set forth below, caching and links to, and the framing of this Digital Service or any of the Contents are prohibited.

You must secure permission from CSRO prior to hyperlinking to, or framing, this Digital Service or any of the Contents, or engaging in similar activities. CSRO reserves the right to impose conditions when permitting any hyperlinking to, or framing of this Digital Service or any of the Contents.

Your linking to, or framing any part of this Digital Service or its Contents constitute acceptance of these Terms of Use. This is deemed to be the case even after the posting of any changes or modifications to these Terms of Use. In no circumstances shall CSRO be considered to be associated or affiliated in whatever manner with any trade or service marks, logos, insignia or other devices used or appearing on websites that link to this Digital Service or any of the Contents.

CSRO reserves all rights to disable any links to, or frames of any site containing inappropriate, profane, defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful topics, names, material or information, or material or information that violates any written law, any applicable intellectual property, proprietary, privacy or publicity rights.

Governing Law

Use of the Digital Service and these Terms of Use and all its subsequent variations shall be subject to, governed by, and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, and you hereby agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts in the determination of any dispute arising in connection with the use of the Digital Service.
